11 supplications
Astaghfirullāh (×3). Allāhumma anta s-salām wa minka s-salām, tabārakta yā dhā l-jalāli wa-l-ikrām
I seek Allah's forgiveness (×3). O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace; blessed are You, O Owner of Majesty and Honour.
Lā ilāha illā llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah… Allāhumma lā māniʿa limā aʿṭayta, wa lā muʿṭiya limā manaʿta, wa lā yanfaʿu dhā l-jaddi minka l-jadd
There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner; His is the dominion and the praise, and He has power over all things. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, none can give what You withhold, and no might avails its owner against You.
Lā ilāha illā llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah… lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh…
There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner; His is the dominion and the praise, and He has power over all things. There is no might nor power except with Allah. There is no god but Allah, and we worship none but Him; His is the grace, the bounty and the fair praise. There is no god but Allah — sincere to Him in faith, even if the disbelievers detest it.
Subḥān Allāh (×33), al-ḥamdu lillāh (×33), Allāhu akbar (×34)
Glory be to Allah (33×), all praise is due to Allah (33×), Allah is the Greatest (34×).
Lā ilāha illā llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu l-mulku wa lahu l-ḥamdu wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr
There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner; His is the dominion and His the praise, and He has power over all things. (This completes the hundred after the tasbīḥ; whoever says it has his sins forgiven even if they were like the foam of the sea.)
Allāhu lā ilāha illā huwa l-ḥayyu l-qayyūm, lā taʾkhudhuhu sinatun wa lā nawm…
Allah — there is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth … His Kursī extends over the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Magnificent.
